What is Jio Prime Membership?
As you all know previous year, Reliance introduced their plans and shifted to paid service from free services. They introduced a “Prime” Membership which has been essential to recharge if you were a Jio User, if a new Jio User.
Jio Prime was offering additional benefits to all their users, such as 100% Cashback offer of Jio on recharges above Rs 398, etc. Jio Prime has offered Free Subscriptions to all of their apps such as JioTV, JioCinema, JioMusic, Etc. It come for Rs 99 for a year subscription (or till 31st March, 2018).
Jio Prime Update: Free for another 1 year
Jio announced that all Jio Prime Users can get another 1 year of free Prime Services till 31st March, 2019 at no additional cost who have opted for Jio Prime on or before 31st March, 2018. But new users who wanted to opt for Jio Prime has to pay an yearly fee of Rs 99 as per the press release by Jio.
How to Avail Free Jio Prime for 1 Year?
- Open MyJio App
- Login to your account
- You will see a popup message as below
- Click on ‘Get Now’ Option
- Now Select your Accounts in which you want to extend Jio Prime
- Now Tap on ‘Proceed’ to raise your request
- That’s it! Your Request will be raised and you will get another 1 year Jio Prime for free at no additional fee.
P.S. Due to heavy traffic on MyJio, This option might not be available for every user, kindly try again and again by opening & closing or even logging out to your account might help you to get the option.
